Attorney’s fees for criminal cases are based on either an hourly rate or a flat fee.

Hourly Fees – Generally, if your case is handled on an hourly fee basis, we will ask that you deposit a retainer in our client trust account. Under this arrangement, you agree to pay for services based on the time we spend working on the case.

Flat Fees – Flat fees are paid at the start of the representation.  The fee covers your entire representation whether the case is concluded by a dismissal, an acquittal, sentencing after a plea agreement, or trial.  It is also understood that no matter how the case concludes the fee will be the same.

Common Flat Fees:**

DUI – 1st: Flat fee of $1500 and up

DUI – 2nd: Flat fee of $2000 and up

DUI – 3rd: Flat fee of $3500 and up

Possession of Marijuana:  Flat fee of $1500 and up

Possession of Controlled Substance: Flat fee of $3500 and up

Simple Assault: Flat fee of $1500 and up

**Flat Fee rates are based on many varying factors.  Rates are based on the facts and circumstances of each case and the jurisdiction in which the charges are pending.
