Christopher Healy has been with Meierhenry Sargent since 2013. Chris grew up on his family’s grain and cattle farm near Utica, South Dakota, and after graduating from Yankton High School he attended the University of South Dakota where he received a B.S. in Political Science in 2010 and a J.D. in 2013. While in Law School Chris was a member of the USD Trial Team and completed internships with the Yankton County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Office of Governor Dennis Daugaard as a legal intern.
Chris’s practice is focused on representing individuals and businesses in various types of civil and land use matters. He has represented clients against the federal government, the State of South Dakota, a number of cities and counties, public utilities and pipeline companies.
Chris works closely with Mark Meierhenry, former South Dakota Attorney General and one of the state’s most reputable trial attorneys, on a plethora of real estate and landowner rights matters. In his free time Chris enjoys hunting, following sports, and spending time with his wife, Anne.
